NICK McRAE
Nick McRae is the author of Mountain Redemption, winner of the Black River Chapbook Competition and forthcoming from Black Lawrence Press, and Moravia, forthcoming from Folded Word Press. His poems, reviews, and translations have appeared or will soon appear in Hayden's Ferry Review, Iron Horse Literary Review, Linebreak, Passages North, Pleiades, The Southern Review, Third Coast, and elsewhere. He has served in various editorial capacities at both scholarly and literary publications, including a/b: Auto/Biography Studies and The Journal, where he is the current Poetry Review Editor. Recently, Nick has been a Fulbright fellow in the Slovak Republic, where he taught English and American literature, a University Fellow in Creative Writing at The Ohio State University, and a finalist for the Ruth Lilly Poetry Fellowship from the Poetry Foundation. He is currently compiling and editing a manuscript entitled Gathered: The Anthology of Contemporary Quaker Poetry. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and raised in the Northwest Georgia mountains, Nick lives and writes in Columbus, Ohio.
